i fear to put pen on paper
afraid of my feelings tumbling down in story,
fear of the man next door know the girl in me.
my pain and hurt all bottled within,
joys and hopes keep me in tune with the rhythm of our talk.
He strides across the room, familiar to my eyes
they roam with him as he smiles with guests in life.
spell bound by wits and traditions,
i see snap shots of my life run through your eyes.
we talk gently, covered by thin film of reality
i stand erect, falling deeply into my dream
paper meets ink , blurred line between us.
see me tomorrow on pages of you.
