Panic Attacks
I need advice fast,
My former boss has refused to write a reference letter for me and that is impeding my confirmation, i hate confronting his pride.
what do i do?

hmmmm, why is he refusing to write it?Is he the only person who can do this for you?maybe HR could help?If not, you could get help from HR m assuming here you dont work in HR..
Why?
Find an old boss, or two or three. Some old professors as well. get as much as you can. Even a pastor, if possible.
You will need to explain to the new employers why this boss refuses. Come up with a good answer that does not bash the old boss too much but makes you look like a saint.
Let us know how it goes and take it easy. It will owrk out.

Find a colleague to write it, thats what I always do...
